Our Band

The independent Artist we have found writes and produces all of his own music. He has made a song which we have chosen to make our film for. The lyrics to the song tell a story, so we have decided to make the video in the form of this story. The story is about his lover who left him, and he is singing about his depression. We are creating a storyboard full of our ideas. Though the song is performed by a solo artist (William Rendell) and we decided the video would look better if it was performed by a band, in which case we have put together a band, which William has agreed too.

After our research, we decided to use an alternative rock genre, the artist we are using has given us permission to use his songs and a sample of some of his music

We evaluated the image of our band and used our research of our genre to help us have a unique selling point, and know what audience we need to sell you.

We created an evaluation page to link all the album covers together, including an example which we analysed.

We have analysed a number album covers from different Genres, which we have shown some in the presentation, this shows us what sort of genres use for their album covers.

Contiuned evaluation of posters

To help us take photos of our band, we also looked at methods some other bands had used, some of them were very simple with not alot happening on the photo, and others had simple airbrused them and used photoshop.
